The Latest
All the following projects are for the craft show coming up in less than a month!!
This frame was just a plain black frame. Nothing exciting about it. I thought about adding color, then I changed my mind because I had the idea to use white and make it elegant. I used some Stampin' Up! rub-ons. It would be great for a wedding photo.

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas!
I know, I know. That's so original. It's true, though! But before we get to that, here are a couple of projects I've worked on for the craft show. (Which, by the way, I found out is October 17. More details on that soon.)
For this simple and quick project, I used a Stampin' Up! rub-on. I love rub-ons. :) This is just a cute little jar that you can use to put little candies in and give as a gift, or you can store small craft items like brads or buttons. It sure looks cuter than a plain, naked glass jar!

I love notebooks. Always have. But spend a little time with one and give it some tender loving care and voila! They go from drab to fab!

Now for the Christmas stuff. :) It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! I decided (with the help of my mom) I need to have a good selection of Christmas cards/crafts available at the craft show seeing as how it's so close to December.
This first card I created around the bow. I was just playing around with ribbon and decided to make a bow and here's what I ended up with:
I love this next one. I love it so much I decided to make 4 identical cards to sell as a set. It just makes me want to go make a mug of hot chocolate and curl up on the couch with my sweetie to admire the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree. :)

First, here's a card I created using "A Tree For All Seasons" stamp set. I love, LOVE the stamp set! It is just so cute and I love using it.

Fabulous Site
Hello! I have some birthday cards and Father's Day cards to share with you, but I still have to edit them. In the meantime, I thought I would share a cool website with you that you just may want to check out!
I came across Paige and Brooke's website through a new blog friend recently. They are all about homemade, so you know I'm all about that!! Please go check out their site. I'm adding their link to my sidebar too.

A Baby Gift
I found this idea for fabric wrapped initials on a blog several months ago. I really wanted to try it so when I learned that I had a niece, I knew exactly what I would make her!! Conveniently enough, her name is short and sweet so I decided to do her whole name instead of just her initial. Here's how it came out:

Valentine's Day Treats
These cute treats are quick and easy to make. I just wrapped a 6x6 piece of paper (I think that's the correct size) around a Hershey bar. Stuck a small strip of paper and tied a ribbon around it. Then I added a little square embellishment. Cute, right?

Dance!
Okay, I didn't think I would finish my daughter's coaster hanging this fast, but I'm glad I did! I am so happy with how it turned out! I included close up pictures to show more detail.

Coaster Hanging

I saw this coaster wall hanging on Splitcoast Stampers. Wouldn't you know, I had some coasters from the Outback Steakhouse saved up already! I really love this idea and I'm currently making one for my daughter's room. It's going to have the word "dance" on it, because that's one of her favorite things! I can't wait for it to be finished.

Cute Owl Treat Bag
I made this treat bag at the creative escape weekend. It's so clever. I don't know how people come up with these things.

Cute Octopus
I found this octopus in a copy of Family Fun magazine. I made one for my daughter and she loves it, so I made one for two of her friends also. They are made using a tennis ball, yarn and googly eyes, so they're super cheap and super cute! Click here for instructions on how you can make your own!
