My First Card Set

Here it is folks! My first note card set is complete! I made five cards using the Tart and Tangy Stampin' Up! stamp set. I did get a little inspiration from Splitcoast Stampers, but I put my own twist on each of the cards so they would be unique.

I have a few things to figure out still: pricing and packaging. I would like to find a cute way to package the note cards, such as tied with ribbon or something. I have some researching to do still, but there's time. I'm just so excited to have this first set finished! There will be more so don't stay away long! :o)

This one is twin #1, Peter's: (Laura Anne picked it out)
And twin #2, Isaac's:
My hubby is turning 30 this year!! Woo-hoo! And I have the perfect card idea for him! I haven't made it yet, but when I do, you'll see! :D

A Birthday Card and Updated Family Frame

Happy Birthday to my husband's mother!! Her cake decorations matched her card which I thought was wonderfully unplanned! We had a great afternoon with them, eating some spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and salad, and finishing it off with some yummy cake and ice cream. I love birthdays!!
You may remember THIS post I did last year. I went on a name frame craze and made a bunch! Take a look at the one I made for one of my older brother's and his family. (It's almost identical to the one you see below). Since I made their frame, they have gotten rid of the cat and added a baby girl to the family! So I had to update their frame. All I did was re-stamp all the family members and use dimentional stickies to stick them to the paper. That way they all pop out a little. Baby Anna went right on top of the kitty that was already there and voila! Their lovely family of 5 is complete!!
What's next on my craft list? A couple things, actually. I would like to make some "we've moved" cards because my family and I are moving next weekend! Then I would like to make a tu-tu for my daughter. Click on the Paige and Brooke button on my right sidebar to find the instructions.
Until next time,

Ketchup

Oddly enough, I need to do a little "catch up" post like MckMama. Except mine's of a totally different nature.

This first card I made for my sweet friend, Arelys, for her birthday. I used some pink felt self-adhesive flowers. It's really cool and I enjoy the look.
This next card was for my husband for Father's Day. Our daughter, son, dog, and myself are represented on this card. I was at a loss as to what to do with the middle square. It occured to me later that I had some tiny alphabet stickers I could have used. But oh well. He really liked the card.
I love LOVE this one. This was my sister-in-law's birthday card. I love this paper from Stampin' Up! And the stripe ribbon I just happened to have lying around just matches perfectly. I love it!

Fabulous Site

Hello! I have some birthday cards and Father's Day cards to share with you, but I still have to edit them. In the meantime, I thought I would share a cool website with you that you just may want to check out!

I came across Paige and Brooke's website through a new blog friend recently. They are all about homemade, so you know I'm all about that!! Please go check out their site. I'm adding their link to my sidebar too.
