Dance!
Okay, I didn't think I would finish my daughter's coaster hanging this fast, but I'm glad I did! I am so happy with how it turned out! I included close up pictures to show more detail.
The letters were die-cuts. I found ribbon and paper to match the letters and took off from there! I used brads, buttons, and ribbon and stickers to embellish each coaster. I put in eyelets to attach all the coasters together with ribbon.Happy crafting!

Coaster Hanging
I saw this coaster wall hanging on Splitcoast Stampers. Wouldn't you know, I had some coasters from the Outback Steakhouse saved up already! I really love this idea and I'm currently making one for my daughter's room. It's going to have the word "dance" on it, because that's one of her favorite things! I can't wait for it to be finished.

Random Cards
I came across these pictures recently of cards that I made last year so I figured I'd post them.
This card was made for my niece who was born last September. I think this giraffe is so cute. It's from the Stampin' Up! stamp set "Bundle of Joy"
I believe this paper set is called "Cutie Pie" and it is! I love these colors:
I sometimes find it a challenge to make a birthday card for a guy. Everything I want to do is too cute. I made this one for my father-in-law last year. It's cute, but not too cute!
Have I mentioned that I love paisley?! This paper is one of my favorites ( I used it on my card tin a couple posts back) And the fat ribbon--I love it!

Cute Owl Treat Bag
I made this treat bag at the creative escape weekend. It's so clever. I don't know how people come up with these things.

Creative Escape
Finally, here are some pictures of a few of the scrapbook pages I finished while at the Creative Escape weekend back in September.
I only got started on Laura Anne's first birthday pictures. This is the only page I finished, so whenever I get around to doing more scrapbooking, I'll finish her first birthday.

Cute Octopus
I found this octopus in a copy of Family Fun magazine. I made one for my daughter and she loves it, so I made one for two of her friends also. They are made using a tennis ball, yarn and googly eyes, so they're super cheap and super cute! Click here for instructions on how you can make your own!

Summer's Frame
Things To Do
I found these ideas in my Stampin' Up catalog. This first one is styrofoam balls with felt flowers attached onto them with brads! So easy and pretty:

Latest Project
I made this frame for a friend of mine. She had a little girl just a few days after my son was born. I designed this particular name frame. I just started with punching the letters out with a flower punch and then went from there. I added glitter to the grass and I really like how that brings out the color. I just love pink and green together!
I added 4 tiny pearls to the butterfly's body, just for an extra touch:Birthday Cards For My Nephews
Three of my nephews turned 2 on August 30. These are the cards I made for them.
For Joshua, the oldest of the three by about 4 and a half hours:

Name Frames
I just love making name frames!!! It's so much fun, and there are so many different techniques and designs to play with. Check some of these out that I've made recently:
For my new son: (This is my original design)
For one of my brothers:
Another brother:Made for a friend:
This is actually the first name frame I ever made. I made it for my daughter. Not too shabby for the first one ever:
I would love to sell some name frames, so if you are interested in me making one for you or a friend, please contact me! I have many options and designs available!

Birth Announcements
Here are some birth announcements I made for my son. I couldn't decide which ones I liked best so I tried out several. This card was made using the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Baby Talk:
Same stamp set. I used a piece of patterned paper and cut it in the shape of the buggy instead of coloring it in. I love how this one turned out:
I really wanted to try a criss-cross card. I'm happy with how they turned out. It was kind of time-consuming, but not difficult. I added mini buttons or brads for the wheels:
This was my favorite criss-cross card. I used Stampin' Up! Pool Party paper and the Bundle of Joy stamp set. I stamped the bear on colored polka dot paper so all I had to do was cut him out and stick him on! Super cute:
